The Metropolitan Consolidated Association of REALTORS® (MCAR) is Michigan’s largest local real estate board, with over 6,000 members primarily located in Oakland and Macomb counties.
It is larger than some state associations and covers one of the most affluent areas in the United States (Oakland County’s per capita income in 2001 was fifth-best nationally among counties with populations over one million). How big is MCAR’s reach? Start in the northeast at Richmond Township and in the southeast at St. Clair Shores, and head northwest to Rochester Hills and southwest to West Bloomfield, taking in Southfield in the south and part of Auburn Hills to the north.
