Designation and certification programs
Perhaps the crown jewel of the MemberMax program is the access to a wide arrary of designation courses available, including Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Green. Members can take two such courses each year.

Continuing Education
The program with which most members are familiar, this six-hour course is a great way to keep on track with your state-mandated continuing education requirement. Includes the two hours of legal continuing education required each year by the state.

Legal Update
Regarded by many as one of the most informative and compelling programs every year, Legal Update is a great way to keep abreast of the rapid-fire changes occurring in the real estate industry.

REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training (formerly known as Quadrennial Code of Ethics Training)
This program meets the specific criteria and learning objectives required for REALTORS® as established in the Statements of Professional Standards Policy #48 - REALTORS®' Code of Ethics Training found in the NAR Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual.

New membership plans!

GMAR now offers three member dues payment options:

  1. MemberMax™ (beginning October 2011)
  2. Annual (beginning November 2011)
  3. Annual + Edu-Pass™ (beginning November 2011)

GMAR offers legacy MCAR members (members who formerly belonged to MCAR and will be renewing membership for 2012) outstanding new plans to fit any budget, and it's as easy as 1-2-3:

If you’re interested in smaller dues payments spread out over 12 months, pay just $77.95 this October – the program’s first month – and $48.95 each month thereafter until the end of your membership term in September 2012.

A notable benefit with this payment plan and education bundle is that you will have access to a number of education programs throughout the year: continuing education, Legal Update, REALTORS® Code of Ethics training and two designation/certification courses. We call it the MemberMax™ program, and we think many of you will really appreciate it.

PLEASE NOTE: Members participating in the MemberMax™ dues and education program must complete this form and return it to GMAR in October. Members joining the MemberMax™ dues and education program after October will be responsible for previous months' payments ($77.95 + $48.95 if joining in November, etc.). Members may not join MemberMax™ after December. MemberMax™ payments begin in October so that we may collect enough funds for the national and state associations.

Total cost for member: $77.95 initial payment, $48.95 subsequent payments for 12 months = $616.40. Benefits: Convenient monthly payment, robust education package.

Many of you have said you wanted a member dues cycle more closely aligned with the calendar year … and we’re delivering it without charging a penny more. Instead of an annual dues deadline of Friday, September 30, dues can now be paid by Friday, December 30.

Total cost for member: $461. Benefits: "One and done" payment.

Want to pay your dues annually, but also want to take advantage of the great education available through the MemberMax™ program? Then sign up for the Edu-Pass™ program, where for an additional $129.95 members paying annually can access all of the great programs listed to the right.

Total cost for member: $461 annual dues + $129.95 Edu-Pass™ = $590.95. Benefits: Convenience of the "one and done" payment WITH access to GMAR's robust education package.
